I put myself to test today by running for the TCS 10kms run, we ran to create awareness for
Isha Vidhya – had returned to Banagalore after 3 weeks only yesterday so didn’t get any preparation whatsoever and directly jumped into the race today morning.
I was thinking that i may not be able to complete the race, since last 8 years I haven’t done any physical exercise like running, gyming whatsoever and have just been on yoga but to my surprise the body fared quite well…I was able to complete in 77 mins without any water break in between and since its Ekadasi I’m fasting as well today but still feeling energetic ?
It reminds me about what I heard when I started practicing yoga – that how Hatha yoga kneads your body in a completely different way and it’s a holistic process to overall health and well-being..am feeling so grateful that I could receive this early on in my life and inspires me to continue on this path and intensify my practices ?
